The Philips TL01 100 Watt is a 6 foot long tube that is for use in phototherapy cabinets and canopies. These are the best in class and are the recognised product for use by clinics, hospitals and home use. These lamps utilise the UVB narrowband light to offer treatment options for vitiligo, eczema, scleroderma and of course psoriasis. We only supply official Philips TL01 uvb narrowband tubes.
There has been more than 400 clinical studies that have shown the Philips TL01 ultra violet B lamps are not only safer, but more effective than other lamps in the phototherapy class. The primary reason is that these phototherapy lights emit a very narrow waveband from the B bandwidth of the UV spectrum (290 - 315). The most effective waveband for the treatment of Psoriasis is between 305 and 315 nm and peaking at 311. This allows for shorter exposure times as the treatment is more focused, thus reducing potential side effects, such as reddening of the skin and itches.
All of this makes them ideal for phototherapy treatment of diseases such as psoriasis and vitiligo. What’s more, because the overall dosage of this narrowband radiation can be closely controlled, these lamps are suitable for home therapy.

Warranty
We will replace or credit goods that are received damaged on delivery only if evidence is supplied and we are notified by telephone or writing within 14 days of delivery. We do not accept returned broken lamps. All returns must be previously arranged by requesting a Returns Authorisation Number and this return number is valid for 14 days after issue. Defective goods will only be accepted for return within 60 days of original dispatch, unless covered by a separate written warranty. Any goods for credit or replacement are subject to evaluation by the manufacturer prior to any credit or replacement. Returns of non faulty goods will only be accepted for return for credit within 60 days of original dispatch, must have original packaging and if a return is agreed, will attract a handling charge.
