This agreement shall be governed by English Law. Within this agreement Medlamps shall mean Medical Lamp Supplies Ltd , any of its Representatives and appointed agents. Customer shall mean purchaser.
Terms and Conditions
These terms & conditions override any conditions of supply unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing. Customers` purchase orders are accepted for accounting references only.
All orders placed via the website are shipped the same day as long as the order is received before 16.00 hours. If the item is out of stock, you will be notified either by email or phone-call and you may cancel the order with a full refund. Most lamps are now made outside of the UK and are imported, therefore it could be 2 weeks before the lamps are back in stock. We will keep you informed either by email or phone if there is a delay in obtaining the lamps.
Technical advice where offered by Medlamps does not form part of the contract and Customers should satisfy themselves as to suitability for their purposes.
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT (20%) and are valid for orders placed within 30 days of the quotation date unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing. All prices shown are example prices and are current. They are however subject to change without notice due to exchange rate fluctuations.
All goods remain the property of Medlamps until the invoice is settled in full and cleared funds are received in our bank account.If payment is not received within 30 days of the date of the invoice an administrative charge of £15.00 may be added to cover some of the administration costs thereby incurred. Additionally, interest may be added. This will be at 8% above The Bank Of England Base Rate.
Acceptance of Goods
Unless written notice is given to Medlamps within seven days of delivery, that the goods are not in conformity to the contract, then it is deemed that the goods are accepted.
In the event of cancellation, Medlamps reserves the right to make a charge to cover expenses and loss of profits.
Liability is limited to the value of the goods. Under no circumstances can Medlamps accept claims for consequential loss, howsoever caused.
Returns for Credit
Medlamps will replace or credit goods that are received damaged on delivery only if evidence is supplied and we are notified by telephone or writing within 14 days of delivery. We do not accept returned broken lamps. All returns must be previously arranged by requesting a Returns Authorisation Number and this return number is valid for 14 days after issue. Defective goods will only be accepted for return within 60 days of original dispatch, unless covered by a separate written warranty. Any goods for credit or replacement are subject to evaluation by the manufacturer prior to any credit or replacement. Returns of non faulty goods will only be accepted for return for credit within 60 days of original dispatch, must have original packaging and if a return is agreed, will attract a handling charge.
Goods returned as gone away, not collected, incorrect address provided by the customer, will be refunded, however we reserve the right to deduct our postage and packaging costs for such returns.
No liability for consequential loss or damages will be accepted. Refunds will only be given at the discretion of the Company Management.
We do not accept debit notes.
Our returns timetable offers generous timescales and consequently will be strictly adhered to. Returns will only be accepted with a Returns Authorisation Number.
Pricing queries must be lodged within 14 days of invoice date.
Orders and service contracts are placed subject to acceptance by Medlamps.
Warranties on specific hardware devices are detailed in their separate documentation. There is no warranty either written or implied on the lifetime of lamp products.
Descriptions and Illustrations
All descriptions and illustrations published by Medlamps in catalogues, advertising material or over the internet are by way of general description and are approximate only, and shall not form part of any contract or give rise to any liability on the part of the company.
We offer shipping to Mainland UK via FedEx and Royal Mail, the delivery times are indicated during check out. For non Mainland UK (Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Scottish Islands) we offer delivery via FedEx only. We dispatch the same day on orders by 4pm if FedEx is chosen, Royal Mail is shipped the next day. We ship to the rest of the world via Royal Mail, please note local taxes may be applicable and would be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Due to international restrictions we are unable to send Batteries, Liquids, Waxes, Creams or supplements outside of the UK. If you accidentally place an item in your order we will delete the product from your basket and send the remaining order without the prohibited supplement. We will of course refund the removed item(s) in full.
LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS DURING SHIPPING
If your parcel gets lost or damaged during shipping we will offer to re-ship the order or a full refund of the order amount. For UK orders we will re-send or refund 15 days after we despatch and for international orders we only offer a full refund after 30 days. Medlamps reserves the right for damaged goods to be returned to MedLamps before re-sending or issuing a refund.
